On February 11, 2006 U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney shot his hunting companion Harry Whittington in the face on an outing in Texas, injuring but not killing him.
On February 12, 1809 Abraham Lincoln was born.
On February 12, 1909 the NAACP was founded.
On February 14, 1929 St. Valentine’s Day Massacre (Chicago) 7 members of Bugs Moran’s gang were murdered by Al Capone’s men in a gangland hit.
