West Palm Beach criminal defense attorney Kelly V. Landers recalls events of significance that occurred this week in history.
On May 23, 1934, bank robbers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were shot and killed in a police ambush in the piney Louisiana woods. Any one of the many wounds suffered by Bonnie and Clyde would have been fatal.
On May 25, 1961 U.S. President John F. Kennedy announced the goal to land a man on the moon by the end of the decade.
