On June 13, 1966, the U.S. Supreme Court issued the Miranda v. Arizona decision, stating that criminal suspects must be informed of their rights prior to custodial interrogation.
On June 17, 1994, after a televised low-speed chase, O.J. Simpson was arrested for the murders of his wife and friend.
On June 18, 1873, Susan B.Anthony was fined $100 for having attempted to vote in the 1872 U.S. Presidential race. She never paid the fine.
